In January, the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians commissioned an environmental impact report to study a proposed addition of 310 new hotel rooms as well as an additional 58,000 square feet of gaming space, 25,000 square feet of food, beverage and retail space and 120,000 square feet of commercial space. Admission is free, but guests must be at least 21. The club, which takes over three adjoining suites, is open every Saturday night from 11 p.m.
In July, Agua Caliente opened Club Mezz, a nightclub on the third floor mezzanine inside The Show, the property’s performance theater.
Pivat, an upscale cigar lounge near the resort’s high-end restaurant The Steakhouse, is scheduled to open at the end of October and will feature a humidor, specialty cocktails and guests who are in the mood for food can order select dishes from The Steakhouse.
